Remember what you learnt in lesson five, now add the bass drum to the mix. Look back at lesson five notes for revision if neccessary.


The lesson starts with a 3 bar repeat with 1/4 notes first, then 1/8th notes and then 1/16th notes, this alone is a great exercise to play over and over again to get used to the timing and lengths of the notes.


Then the exercise starts with one group of 1/16th notes in each bar mixed with 1/4 notes then on to 1/8th notes and starts to add more groups of 1/16th notes. Practise slow to begin with and slowly increase your metronome speed but don't increase it until you can play the whole chart several times without a mistake.
