Mixing 1/16th notes, 1/8th and quarter notes and their rests. Up to bar 24 the lesson is fairly straight forward and from there on, whole note, 1/4 note and 1/8th note rests have been added to the mix.


If you are having difficulty with a particular section, slow it right down and practise it carefully until you can play it easily then try playing it with the whole chart and without a mistake. They might not sound that interesting to begin with, but later on you will discover some of these patterns can sound great when they are mixed and played on different drums such as the toms.
