Lesson 6 is a further study of sixteenth notes for more practice. Groups of sixteenth notes are placed at different positions in the bar so read the chart carefully as you go and when you can play the whole chart comfortably, gradually speed it up.


Do your best to develop good timing and a good grip for now and there will be more soon about gripping drum sticks later. If you are watching the videos try to watch how the sticks are held. This really takes time to develop as there are many important factors, such as how the sticks rebound off the pad or the drum and where you hit the drum and so on.
